About Matt's Snowmakers

Built by a Snowmaker. For Snowmakers.

This isn't a product line dreamed up in a boardroom. It's 15+ years of backyard obsession turned into equipment that actually works.

The Story

It Started With a Terrible Winter

Back in 2009, Matt had a problem. He'd built a terrain park in his backyard, spent weeks shaping it just right — and then the snow never came. Two inches in January. A warm February. The hill sat there, brown and useless.

So he did what any obsessed backyard enthusiast would do: he started researching snowmaking. He found some commercial gun designs, reverse-engineered them, and built his first prototype out of plumbing fittings. It made snow. Not great snow, but real snow.

Over the next decade, he refined the designs. Tried different nozzle configurations. Figured out the right air-to-water ratios. Built guns for neighbors, then for friends of friends. Word spread. People kept asking where they could buy one.

Matt's Snowmakers LLC is the answer to that question. Every gun is designed from real-world use — not a spec sheet. If it's in the lineup, it's because Matt has run it himself, in his own backyard, in real conditions.

What We Stand For

No Shortcuts. No Gimmicks.

Real Equipment

Every gun is built from plumbing fittings and components. Nothing is consumer-grade plastic. These are tools meant to run for years in sub-zero temperatures.

Made in America

Every component is sourced and assembled in the USA. Not because it's a marketing line — because Matt knows where his parts come from and trusts the quality.

Honest Specs

The product pages tell you exactly what you need: water pressure, CFM requirements, temperature thresholds. No vague promises. If it won't work for your setup, we'll tell you.

Built to Last

A Matt's Snowmakers gun isn't a seasonal toy. Maintained properly, it'll outlast a decade of winters. That's the standard every product is held to before it ships.
